Service Opportunity!

Hi Quilters!

We have an amazing opportunity to help out with both the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter and the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Grangeville- but we can't do it without one key ingredient.... you.

A few lovely quilters have donated over 80 unfinished quilt tops- with the intent that any proceeds from the quilt tops be donated to the animal shelter. To help bring this to pass, we have joined together for an Adopt-a-Top program. Here's how it goes:

We need you to come into Home Grown Quilts (both Lewiston and Grangeville locations have quilts) to adopt a quilt top . We need to you quilt and bind the quilts- and bring the quilts back finished to either Home Grown Quilts location by Saturday, August 31st.
On Saturday, September 7th all quilts will be auctioned off with the joint collaboration of ARF and the LC Animal Shelter during the Grangeville Quilt Walk with 100% of the proceeds to be split between them.

The quilt tops range in size from 18.5" X 18.5" to 108" x 115", so there are plenty of quilts for any kind of time or budget. There are vintage flour-sack quilts to quilts with a modern feel. There are even a few quilt blocks that need to be made into a quilt.  Something for everyone. You can hand quilt, machine quilt, pay for a long-arm quilter... your choice.

As part of the project, Home Grown Quilts is offering all batting, backing, and binding fabric 40% off.

If you think this project is amazing, however you don't have the time or resources for an entire quilt adoption- we are accepting monetary donations to go toward getting supplies to get these quilts finished.

This project will only succeed with your help. We hope to make it a successful fund raising for our wonderful animal shelters. Together we can make this happen.

We will see you soon!
From our laps to yours,
Jody and her peeps at Home Grown Quilts
