Starting October 1 we have a new policy for sewing machine service, repair, or diagnostics. A $19.99 charge will be placed on all machines brought in for our trained repair technician. Fee is to be paid at the time of drop off. The non-refundable cost will be applied toward machine repair or purchase. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have a CORNY idea for a bit of fun... are you ready for it? Home Grown Quilts is going to be doing an ugly fabric challenge with a small catch.....
You bring US the ugly fabric and YOU get to say if Jody, Brian, Breezi, Lezlie, Gayle and our friend,Karen - will have to make a quilt with that "gorgeous" piece in it.
From now until Nov 1st we will be accepting your ugly fabric.
Whatever fabric is given to us will have to be used in a quilt that it at least 50"x50"
We have until March 1st to complete our quilts.
To go along with this fun- For $1 per vote- You will get the opportunity to vote on who you think will make the best quilt with the ugly fabric.
In March we will be hosting a reveal dinner and only those who have donated fabric and/or paid $1 to vote will be invited to attend.
The Ugly Fabric quilts will be the door prizes at the dinner!
Fun, right? You hold the key to this challenge.

HoopSister's 2019 Fleur De Lis Quilt Class
Lewiston:Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th
Instructor: Brian Medsker
Class Fee: $199 + Supplies
We are so excited to be offering the HoopSisters EmbroidaBlock of the Month for 2019 - Fleur de Lis. If you have an embroidery machine with an embroidery field of at least 5", you will have so much fun making this quilt. All of the piecing and quilting is done in the hoop using your embroidery machine. There are 5 block sizes to choose from ranging from 5" up to 9". Depending on your embroidery field and desired quilt size, you can make a wall hanging up to a bed sized quilt. As with all of our embroidery classes, this is a great way to get to know your machine better and make an amazing quilt!
Class sign up fee is $199. The class fee pays for the embroidery files. With your sign up you are eligible to receive the Border CD at 1/2 price (Reg. $69.99). The class fee does not include the fabrics. You get to choose your own! We can't wait to see what everyone decides to use! Come see our beautiful sample in Lewiston.
We are offering two days each month to come and work on your masterpiece with Brian. You are welcome to stop by any time during our business hours from 10-5 (Friday) and 10-3 (Saturday). You can come in one or both days- whatever works for your schedule. You can also join in making this quilt at any time! We know summer gets busy, and we don't want you to feel limited or overwhelmed.

 Mom and Me Talkin' Turkey Runner Class

Class Fee: $15 PER PAIR (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies
This super cute table topper is perfect for a delightful duo to complete. This doesn't have to be "MOM"- It can be grandma, aunt, adopt-a-relative- whoever comes it will be fun to bring along a special kiddo and do a fun project together that can be placed on the Thanksgiving table. Dessert is included!
Big Sky Bloom Quilt Class

Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies This quilt is just so happy. It's fresh and reminds us of all things delightful. Learn how to use the 60degree diamond ruler- and embrace your inner sewing triangles lover. Nothing on this quilt is appliqued- it's all pieced.
3 hour See-Into Project Bags

If you haven't gotten a chance to meet Cate yet, you are in for a treat! She is so amazing and we know you will love her to pieces. Cate made this super fun pattern and whipped up close to a *million in an afternoon (*slight exaggeration... it was closer to like 10, but who's counting) Come check out the sample in the shop! ~You can make these bags in any size. ~You can use sport mesh in place of vinyl. ~Zippers with a wider tape are easier to sew and don’t require a zipper foot. ~Zipper length depends on whether you want to have the opening the length or width of the bag. 
Bare Roots Christmas Tree Skirt Class

Come learn how to make this adorable tree skirt. You will love the rustic charm of this darling project. Make one for you or for a gift! 
Machine Embroidery Lace Ornament Class

Machine Embroidery Curling Iron or Eye Glass Case
Grangeville: Saturday, November 16th @ 10-3

Class Fee: $35(or FREE with class pass) + Supplies
Create super adorable eye glass or curling iron cases, just in time for gift making for the holidays! These projects are done using an Embroidery Machine, which, if you don't own one, you are very welcome to reserve one for use at the class. Bring a friend and come play and learn!  **Each class has a Supply List. There may be additional class costs for special sewing supplies, such as patterns, or special rulers, etc. Fabric requirements will be listed. Once you register for your class and receive your Supply List, you will qualify to receive a 15% discount on all required supplies. To receive the discount, you must have your Supply List with you when you make your purchase. NOTE: Students are required to have their own patterns and tools during classes. This enables the classes to stay on the curriculum schedule rather than having the class wait while students borrow supplies from each other.**
