A few things with classes to be mindful of: *If you have your project cut out- you will be able to spend class time learning and working on your project, rather than spending all of your time cutting. You will be much more excited about your projects if you are more prepared.  * Classes are a retreat- for a lot of people it's therapy of sorts. It's a time to have fun, learn together, and relax (unless you have a seam ripper in hand.) - Please be respectful of your fellow retreaters. While we love kids, and we have lots of them ourselves- most small children (such as toddlers/pre-k) seem to find our classes a bit boring. We have had some class members vocalize the frustration it brings when a relaxing class gets not so relaxing because of small people being unhappy or bored.  Let's let everyone have a happy experience! Have you wanted to learn how to do paper piecing, or just simply want to make some functional and way adorable placemats? This is a perfect class for you. Using basic paper piecing techniques and this great introductory pattern you can complete this project pretty quickly. We are hoping that with this skill under your belt you will feel confident enough to try other paper piecing projects too! Book Nook Quilt Class Grangeville: Friday, January 19th @ 5-8:30pm Instructor: Breezi Kohrman Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies . This quilt has simple piecing techniques that turn into this great library of books on a quilt. Don't be intimidated by all the pieces, you can totally do this. Trust me.... And you will adore your results. We've got another Great Strip Race! Grab your jelly rolls (or (40) 2 1/2" Strips) and get ready to race! Our Great Strip race is famous for snacks, lunch, silly games with prizes, and lots of laughing as we quilt. This is a fun and easy project that anyone can make.
