We have a brand new program for you to indulge in! We are so excited to announce that we are bringing a
Fall/Winter Class Pass to Home Grown Quilts!!
Just what is the Winter Class Pass, you might ask?
Let’s fill you in on the details:
For a one-time fee of $75, the
Class Pass entitles student to enroll in unlimited classes November 1,
2014 through April 30, 2015.
- Previous class fees may be applied to the purchase of a Class Pass during the same time period.
- One pass per person.
- Pass cannot be shared or transferred.
- Pass is Non-Refundable.
- Pass has no monetary value and are not refundable
- The Class Pass is used for payment for classes only, not supplies.
- When registering for a class in person or on the phone, let us know that you have a class pass.
- After a class limit is reached, interested students are put on a wait list.
- Classes also have a minimum number of students to make the class a go.
- The teacher prepares for the number of students registered.
- When you register for a class with a class pass, you are expected to show up for the class.
- Any pass holder that needs to cancel a class must cancel at least 2 days prior to the scheduled class.
- Any pass holder who is a “no show” or cancels less than 2
days prior to a class for two classes will have their class pass
privileges revoked.
In other words: For a one-time fee of $75- you can enroll in over 30 +
classes we already have scheduled (and we have a lot more classes to be
scheduled soon!). That is quite a bargain! You could save literally
hundreds of dollars!
BUT WAIT…. There’s more!
We are also offering YOUTH Class Passes! (8-18yrs)
Youth Class Passes are available for a fee of $35! We
are busy scheduling Kid’s Camp activities for every day that school is
out of session. Youth class participants are not limited to Kid’s Camp
only activities – there are lots of beginner courses being offered, and
if your youth is more advanced, we welcome them to try any and all of
our other classes!

We are doing a super fun
MYSTERY QUILT!! This is a 5
month long pattern- and the 6th month (April 2015) we will do a Mystery
Quilt Reveal Party along with a Mystery Dinner for those who
participate. Patterns are free with the purchase of your fabric at Home
Grown Quilts.
Every 1st Thursday of the month-
except January, which will be on the 2nd Thursday- due to New Year’s Day, (November- March 2015) Kathleen will be here to guide you through your mysterious journey
(heck,
we'll even be staying open an hour later those days, until 6pm, so we
can make sure you get to participate or just get the help you need.) On those Thursdays our classroom will be open and available for you to come in and work on your block.

Bring whatever you are working on…quilting, hand sewing, knitting,

typically enjoy a warm loaf of fresh bread and honey butter, and plenty
of fun conversation and laughter. (okay, this picture has nothing to do
with our Midnite Sew-Cials, but it DOES depict some craziness that goes
on at our Midnite Sew-Cials! …thank you Megan Fairchild for being such a
great model of our super hero cape panels, and for Arlene who is trying
to be the inconspicuous super hero assistant!)
12 MONTHS OF CHRISTMAS CLASSES!!
On the last Tuesday of each month, look for a Christmas project
to make. By the time Christmas arrives, you will already be prepared
with lots of finished Christmas things…Boom!
- In ADDITION to our 12 Months of
Christmas classes, we will be revealing the NEW Christmas fabrics that
come in each month during the class. Students may preview and purchase
the new fabric at a 20% discount during class. Woohoo!
NOVEMBER: Waffle Time Runner Class

This super cute runner can be made with any colorway of fabrics for
any season of the year. We made up kits for you using the Maywood
Studio’s Merry & Bright fabric line. Come play…the more the Bright

Christmas is a season of love and sharing. The 12 Months of
Christmas embodies this spirit of giving to those you truly love. Enjoy
and share the spirit of these delightful and easy monthly blocks.
Blocks are machine or hand appliqued. Block #1 class begins December 30th,
and each block will be taught by DeAnn on the last Tuesday each month
at 5:30 to 8:30pm through November 2015. There will be a class to put
your finished blocks together…I’m sensing a Christmas cookie exchange
party with this class!

Turning Twenty Quilt Class

Company At The Cabin Runner Class

Every household in Idaho should have this runner on their
table! Wait till you meet your instructor, Nona Davis, previous owner
of Sew-n-Sew quilt shop in St. Maries, Idaho…you will love her. Nona
put together kits for this project, including moose cut-outs (yay!)

Sat, Nov 15th – Trunk Show @ 10am, Snowfamily Pillow Class to follow!
Some of you have seen the adorable patterns we have at our shop,
including “Got Your Nose”, Snowflake Kits, and Snowfamily. Cindy Moore,
owner of FunClub Designs will be coming from Meridian to teach the
Snowfamily class! You will learn how to embroidery on wool. Cindy is
also the author of the brand new pattern for the beautiful place mats
that you have seen teasing you in our shop! Cindy will bring her Trunk
Show and all of her patterns, including the brand new ones, which will
be 20% off during the Trunk Show!

We are sooo lucky to have Carol & Norma come instruct us on some
fantastic techniques! For those of you who have taken previous classes
from them here at Home Grown Quilts, you will love what they have in
store. Friday’s class will be a small kitted up project learning how to
do a different technique to inset circles. Saturday’s class is a ‘WHAT
NOW’ class for previous students and Friday’s students to bring their
unfinished projects. Carol & Norma will show you how to finish them
up with embellishing, top stitching and free motion quilting. Yep,
this is the class you have been asking for! Supper provided on Friday
and lunch provided on Saturday.

Turning Twenty quilt. It doesn’t matter how you as a couple chose to

we mean chocolate) & Partner B – Sewing or Partner A & B sewing
side by side (this pattern has a reverse to it- and you and your partner
will get to share fabrics, but each create a one of a kind quilt!) – or
whatever works for you! The best part will be spending time together.

Club hours for a preview!….you will be the 1

them! In addition, you will receive 20% off books and supplies to make
any of the projects in the books. Discount only good during Book Club

It’s easy to participate in our Super Stitcher program—and it’s FREE to you! Here’s how it works:
1. As a Super Stitcher member, we’ll automatically give you a free
Super Stitcher stamp card.
2. Your Super Stitcher stamp card will get stamped each time you buy a
book or product from That Patchwork Place or Martingale Co.
3. When you complete your Super Stitcher cards with
nine “M” stamps, you mail your card to Martingale—and
Martingale will send you a free book of your choice!

**Each class has a Supply List. There may be additional class costs for
special sewing supplies, such as patterns, or special rulers, etc.
Fabric requirements will be listed.
Once you register for your
class and receive your Supply List, you will qualify to receive a 20%
discount on all required supplies. To receive the discount, you
must have your Supply List with you when you make your purchase.
NOTE: Students are required to have their own patterns and tools during
classes. This enables the classes to stay on the curriculum schedule
rather than having the class wait while students borrow supplies from
each other.**
