Hi Quilters! We are hosting a Husqvarna Viking Education Event ! Who:  For YOU and your friends! What: Come and experience a fantastic event featuring Husqvarna Viking Designer Ruby 90 embroidery and sewing machines, and make your own beautiful embroidered collage "Fantasy Garden" (DAY 1). Choose to also attend DAY 2, exploring our Amber Air S400 Serger...it practically threads itself! This is a perfect opportunity to see what this Serger can do for you! Lunch provided both days, as well as goodie bags, prizes and snacks. Be sure to get signed up for one or both days! We would love to have an idea of how many of you are interested as soon as possible in any of these retreats so we can plan accordingly.  No matter which retreat(s) you choose, they are all the same cost of $385 which includes 3 nights, 4 days, motel room, common room for quilting, and catered meals.  All retreats are Monday through Thursday. Due to new rules at the facilities all retreats are non-refundable.   See photos below of the facilities...We know you'll like them! A few things with classes to be mindful of: *If you have your project cut out- you will be able to spend class time learning and working on your project, rather than spending all of your time cutting. You will be much more excited about your projects if you are more prepared.  * Classes are a retreat- for a lot of people it's therapy of sorts. It's a time to have fun, learn together, and relax (unless you have a seam ripper in hand.) - Please be respectful of your fellow retreaters. While we love kids, and we have lots of them ourselves- most small children (such as toddlers/pre-k) seem to find our classes a bit boring. We have had some class members vocalize the frustration it brings when a relaxing class gets not so relaxing because of small people being unhappy or bored.  Let's let everyone have a happy experience! Clear Blue Tiles are a complete system for quilting on your home embroidery machine. The stitching goes through all three layers of a quilt sandwich (back fabric, batting, and top fabric), with traditional, continuous quilting on both sides of your project. Clear Blue Tiles help you (easily!) achieve the look of custom quilting in-the-hoop, without having to worry about math formulas or carefully lining up the elements of a design. It all just flows, like you’d used a long-arm machine! And all you do is place your tile(s), mark your fabric, and choose the embroidery file to match the size. Clear Blue Tiles have the same scale as all of the coordinating embroidery designs, so you can use a variety of tiles on the same project for professional, finished results. Come expand your tool box with this useful technique.  Bring a finished project that just needs quilting or a 36" square quilt sandwich and go to town. There are TONS of embroidery designs to choose from! The sky is the limit.     Spring Delight Quilt Class  Lewiston: Friday, July 8th  @ 10-3 Instructor: Amanda Rice   Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  Sweet and delightful, this easy-to-make quilt will brighten anyone’s day Curvy Bow Tie Quilt Class Grangeville: Saturday, July 9th @ 10-3 Instructor: Breezi Kohrman  Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  We love this curvy version of the iconic traditional 'Bow Tie' quilt design.  It has an added a curve which creates another layer of movement and texture and freshens up this fantastic traditional quilt design You will LOVE sewing curves with the Wonder Curve Ruler used to make this pattern. NO PINNING necessary!  MOM + ME Movie Star Quilt Class Grangeville: Saturday, July 30th  @ 10-3 Instructor: Lezlie Moudy Class Fee: $20 + Supplies  Come Join us in this Mom+ Me Class... or Grandma+Me...or Aunt+Me.... or you get the idea :)  This is a perfect class for littles (8 years and older) to learn foundations of quilting and help make this fun and easy quilt.  Lunch will be provided!  Sunflower Seeds Quilt Class  Grangeville:  Saturday, August 13th @ 10-3 Instructor: Breezi Kohrman   Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  This happy quilt can be made so many ways-  Scrappy, Ombre, Colorful..... the sky is the limit.  Come learn how to make this fun quilt that will bring smiles for years to come Slice Rug Class Grangeville: Thursday, August 18th @ 10-4 Instructor: Lezlie Moudy   Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  This Shabby Fabrics Slice Rug is so much fun to make! Easily customizable to fit into any decor :)  This is a great class to use up a jelly roll that you've been holding onto.  Flower Stand Runner Class  Grangeville:  Thursday, August 25th  @ 10-3 Instructor: Lezlie Moudy Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  You have to see this runner in person to truly appreciate the work that goes into making it. Details that the photos just don't pick up.  It is so darling and sure to make you smile for years to come and makes a perfect gift too!  Road Trip Quilt Class - Learn to Applique! Grangeville: Friday, September 30th @5:30-8:30 Instructor:  Breezi Kohrman  Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  This is the perfect quilt to learn how to applique. Come make a fun cute quilt and learn a new skill.  We will show you how to use Appli-pops, the flip method, freezer paper method, and show you the difference between Heat n' bond and  Steam a seam fusible webs- as well as different effective stitches to adhere your appliques on your quilt.  We will see you soon!
