Hi Quilters!
We have had a great response from our service opportunity email- we've had almost 45 lovely quilters who have graciously adopted a quilt top to benefit our animal shelters and we only have a little over 40 tops left to be adopted!!
We have had about 8 lovely ladies who have said they would love to bind any quilts that are done if those who are quilting them don't want to bind them. If you are one who doesn't love binding, bring your quilt to us and we'll get it to the right people. It takes a village to support a village, and we are grateful for your help!
Come into either of our locations to adopt a quilt top that will benefit the Animal Rescue Foundation and the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter. ... and remember all fabric and batting for these quilts will be sold at 40% off!

MYSTERY TWO COLOR QUILT CHALLENGE
We're hosting a mystery two-color quilt challenge! We're using Lori Holt's book, Vintage Christmas. (We have only 1 book left from our first big order. More are on their way!)
All quilts will have the same finished size of 68 1/2" square(ish)- and
use the same structure of your choice of (16) 6" blocks and (9) 12"
blocks joined with your choice of 4 different sashing types that shown
in the book.
The mystery is that one of your colors that is chosen will come from a blind grab into our bag of Crayola crayons. For example: Breezi did a blind grab and got violet as her color (She wasn't thrilled....lol) and picked a yellowish cream color for the 2nd choice. Using a mix of fabrics, the quilt below was the end result. The other quilt she did as the shop sample was navy blue and white.
We are going to display all finished quilts (or quilt tops) at the 3rd Bi-Annual Quilt walk on Saturday, Sept 7th 2019... so you have to get to work :D
This is going to be a ton of fun. We haven't "officially" announced this challenge yet and already have 19 people that signed up and picked a color crayon. Crayons are available at both shops (and we still have lots of great colors!)
As always, any event/class we host we give a 15% discount on all supplies needed for the project.
We will be hosting a sew day at both shops for the 2 color quilt challenge on Saturday, July 20th from 9:30am-3pm, where everyone can work on their quilts.
