Quilt Walk Help Needed

Hi Quilters!


We are a week out from the 2nd Biannual Quilt and Art walk. We are starting to get some quilts in, but we are far from our goal. Quilters, we need your help. Our first year we had 150 quilts on display, and we'd love to beat that.  Just imagine if every single one of you on this mailing list brought in a quilt or two... it would be amazing! We don't care if it is a quilt (big or small) that you made, that grandma made, that a dear friend gave you, etc... let's see all those gorgeous quilts brought in!

For you Boise Peeps- Home Grown Quilts will be at the Boise Basin Quilt Show THIS WEEKEND! Bring your quilts there and we can bring them up for our quilt show. :D

With two sewing machine repair techs working so quickly- and getting out your machines faster than ever,  we are starting to get a lot of trade-in machines ready for resale- all machines have been cleaned, tested, repaired if needed, and ready to be loved.

We currently have a Husqvarna Viking Designer 1 USB, Husqvarna Viking 990, Janome New Home Deluxe, a Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 835, Janome Harmony 8080, Pfaff Hobby 1200 Grand Quilter, and a Husqvarna Viking Designer SE.

Come join Kathleen and Breezi for some all night fun! Bring and treat and play till you drop!  The Friday Night Sewcial is $10. For your $10 you will receive DINNER  and  $5 in store credit (good for that night only). This class fills up fast, so don't delay in reserving your seat.

Rodeo Round Up Baby Quilt

Your cute little cowgirl or cowboy would be delighted to wrap up in this charming quilt. Quilt could be easily expanded if you wanted bigger dimensions.

Knitting and Felting Class

Grangeville: Friday, October 13th @ 9am-Noon

Instructor: Joan Haaland
Class Fee: $10 + Supplies 

In this class you will learn to knit a hot pad, felt it, then add a design on top of it- creating this stunning piece of usable art for your home. Come join us and learn!



Crochet Wrist Warmers/Finger-less Gloves

Grangeville: Thursday, October 19th @ 5-8pm

Instructor: Megan Fairchild
Class Fee: $10 + Supplies 

These adorable little wrist warmers or finger-less gloves (whatever you prefer to call them)- are absolutely amazing for little gifts or stocking stuffers- or make them for yourself!
Megan will teach you how to master this project.




Venetian Tiles Quilt

Grangeville: Saturday, November 18th @ 10-3

Instructor: Lezlie Moudy
Class Fee: $10 + Supplies 

Create the feeling of the old world with a quilt reminiscent of the old tile floors and mosaics of Venice. It looks fabulous made with many different lights and medium ornate prints.
Pattern can be used with any size X-blocks rotary cutting tool.

 

**Each class has a Supply List. There may be additional class costs for special sewing supplies, such as patterns, or special rulers, etc.  Fabric requirements will be listed.  Once you register for your class and receive your Supply List, you will qualify to receive a 15% discount on all required supplies. To receive the discount, you must have your Supply List with you when you make your purchase.   NOTE:  Students are required to have their own patterns and tools during classes.  This enables the classes to stay on the curriculum schedule rather than having the class wait while students borrow supplies from each other.**
