Sew-Cial
Bring your quilt, crochet, applique, needle punch…or whatever your project may be and come sew with us! We are known to make a hot loaf of yummy bread with ohhhhh so delicious honey butter to enjoy!

Holiday Houses Class

These will be held the 1^st Friday evening each month during our Midnite Sew-Cial.  The Holiday House hangings are awesome and display nicely on scrolled table stands, available at Home Grown Quilts. 

$15 per class + pattern.  Class fee includes all other supplies

Baltimore Album Club

These classes will be held during our Midnite Sew-Cial, and anyone can join the fun at any time.  A new Baltimore Album block will be taught each month, and before years’ end, you will have 12 blocks made for a quilt or several wall hangings (or table toppers)!

$10 per class + book and supplies

Crochet Club
For beginners and beyond! Meet with us every other Thursday for great tips and techniques as well as start a crochet project.

Urban Cabin Quilt Class

This is a very beginner friendly quilt.  Our sample is made with really nice flannels that make it looks extra snuggly!  To make it easier on you, we have kitted up this quilt with the flannels used in our sample (or you can choose your own fabrics).

Class Fee: $10 + pattern and supplies
Finished Size: 65”X88” (lap size)….or you can make it larger

Lacy Knit Scarf Class

This is a very beginner friendly knitting project which makes up quickly.  BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!...  We are beginning to stock specialty yarns at Home Grown Quilts, including the lace yarn used for this scarf class.  Come on in and check out the beautiful selection of colors!  Our instructor is coming all the way from Newport Washington to teach this fun class.

Dresden Star Quilt Class

A very beautiful quilt indeed!  You will learn really cool folding and other techniques in this class to make your star points and Dresden blades.  Ann Wilponen will be teaching this class (see her cutie pie photo above...the one I borrowed from Facebook)

1^st Anniversary Party!

Can you believe it’s been a full YEAR for Home Grown Quilts?!?!  To celebrate our Anniversary, we will have fun things available:

·         Mystery bag challenges

o    Bring some stash fabric and practice on our Accuquilt, cutting out various shapes from your fabric for FREE!  (regularly rents for $10 per hour)

Paper Pieced Heart Class

This is a perfect class to learn an easy foundation paper pieced project.  This project is a small hanging, which will enable you to get the ‘hang’ of paper piecing and get the project completed…or mostly completed in class.

Martingale Book Club
Martingale is a publisher specializing in books and patterns on quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, and crafts. Each month we receive a shipment of brand new items from Martingale, as well as from other distributors. This club will meet monthly, and it is FREE. Join us anytime during these hours for a preview of new books that come in during the month….you will be the 1^st to see them! Club members will receive 20% off books and supplies to make projects in the books. Discount only good during Book Club hours. We are a Super Stitcher Shop!
It’s easy to participate in our Super Stitcher program—and it’s FREE to you! Here’s how it works:
1. As a Super Stitcher member, we’ll automatically give you a free Super Stitcher stamp card.
2. Your Super Stitcher stamp card will get stamped each time you buy a book or product from That Patchwork Place or Martingale.
3. When you complete your Super Stitcher cards with nine “M” stamps, you mail your card to Martingale—and Martingale will send you a free book of their choice!

Lil Twister Heart Class

Just in time for Valentines!  This beautiful hanging is perfect to display in your home…or maybe in His car…to get your hunney thinking about Valentines.  The Lil Twister has been fun for a lot of you to learn to use this Fall, and we want to encourage you to bring out your Lil Twister tool to use on more projects like this one.  NOTE:  The small heart in the photo is made from the Itty Bitty Twister, using up the scraps from the hanging…super adorable!

Class Fee: $10 + book and supplies

Skill Level:  Confident Beginner

Beginning Quilt Class Series
These are the last classes of a 7 class series. In the Beginning Quilt Class course, you will make either a lap or crib sized quilt using the new skills and techniques that we will teach you. We plan to offer Beginning Quilting Classes 2-3 times per year. If you or someone you know have been wanting to learn to quilt, stay tuned for our next series around May/June. We will have daytime and evening classes available.

$90 + supplies
