Hi Quilters! Husqvarna Viking Embroidery Event is THIS WEEKEND!!  If you are wanting to go to this event call either Home Grown Quilts Location (208-983-0254- Grangeville/ 208-743-0503- Lewiston) ASAP!  This is a pre-pay event, so claim your seat!  Because there is so much that Darrelle wants to do with you gals, we have added a 2nd day to the Event, at no extra cost!  Here is the skinny: WHERE:  Hampton Inn Conference Center, 2701 Nezperce Drive, Lewiston (up across from the Home Depot area) WHEN:    Friday, Oct 9th @ 10-4pm  AND Saturday, Oct 10th @ 9-3:30pm COST:      $75 event fee, which includes:  Both days of event, snacks & lunch both days, project kits for both days! WHAT:      Friday will consist of:  Quilt Therapy, Sewing & Embroidery using the design placement app, table runner construction (to keep!)                             Saturday will consist of:  What's new! It's a time to have fun, learn together, and relax (unless you have a seam ripper in hand.) - Please be respectful of your fellow retreaters. While we love kids, and we have lots of them ourselves- most small children (such as toddlers/pre-k) seem to find our classes a bit boring. We have had some class members vocalize the frustration it brings when a relaxing class gets not so relaxing because of small people being unhappy or bored.  Let's let everyone have a happy experience! Super easy with lots of fun.   Beginning Paper Piecing Class Grangeville: Saturday, October 24th @ 9:30-3 Instructor:  Lynelle Buxton Class Fee: $25( or $15 with class pass) + Supplies  Come have Lynelle guide you through the art of paper piecing by making this adorable wall hanging or table topper. Stop by the Lewiston shop and see the super cute variations she has whipped up. It's amazing how different the same thing can become with a twist of fabric choices. Hi Quilters! Mark your calendars! Home Grown Quilt is hosting a Catching The Dream Event in Lewiston!! Date: Saturday, October 10th Starting at 9am   Every attendee will make a really cool Dream Catcher, using a Husqvarna Viking Epic 2. There will be a trunk show from our Event Instructor, Darrelle Anderson from Spokane (yay!), and she will also teach a ton of techniques. Machines will be provided and kits for our project will be available and are included in cost of your seat for the event. This is an all day event, lunch and snacks provided. We only have 12 spots available, so be sure to reserve your spot ASAP! Event cost per person is only $75! ------------------------------------------------------------------------  QUILT SHOW!! Class This Friday and Saturday

 

Hi Quilters!

We have a class this Friday and Saturday at the Grangeville shop location. We are a few students short and our teacher is coming from out of town. If you are interested in coming to this class please let us know ASAP- either by replying to this email or calling 208-983-0254 . This is a great technique to put in your tool box that you can either use multiple of the same panel or a panel and coordinating fabrics.

Panel One- Block Wonder Class
TWO DAY CLASS
Grangeville : Friday and Saturday August 28 & 29
9-5 pm on Friday and 9-3 on Saturday
Instructor: Ann Wilponen
Class Fee: $20 (or $10 with class pass) + Supplies 
Approx size depends on size of panel. This is fun wonder block technique using panels, which turns your panels into something magical!  You can choose to use multiples of an identical panel or just use one panel and coordinating fabrics.... both will bring you endless results! Bring a friend and come play.

You can pick from any of our available Retreat themes from 2018-2019! Make this class into what you want it to be! We have two dates available each month for you to come and do these HoopSister retreats. You can come in one or both days- whatever works best for your schedule. Below are examples of what you can choose- but we have so many more designs available too! As with all of our embroidery classes, this is a great way to get to know your machine better and make amazing things! Grids and Grommets Bag Class  Grangeville: Saturday August 15th @ 10-3 Instructor: Breezi Kohrman  Class Fee: $10 (or FREE with class pass) + Supplies  The Grids & Grommets Bag is a versatile style offered in two styles. Make the large version as a tote or the smaller bag as an attractive purse. It incorporates grommets for closing and an easy technique to create a comfortable handle. Construct it from a plain fabric using an interesting quilting pattern or piece the bag incorporating your favorite jelly roll fabric (2 1/2" wide strips) coordinates. Double the straps over your shoulder or convert it to a single strap across your body for security and convenience. Pattern includes large and small purse in both a quilted and jelly roll variations.
