We have some exciting new trade-in machines that have come to the shop. These machines are top-notch and gorgeous. These are at the Grangeville location, however if you would like us to bring them down to Lewiston to test drive them we would be delighted to do so. Just let us know!

We are starting a fun new club- The Hoffman Bali Batik Club!
Each month we are getting in gorgeous Bali Batik bundles that have 12 Fat Quarters that have silver and gold metallic elements mixed in. When you purchase 11 bundles, you get your 12th bundle FREE!!! We currently have January's "Frost" and February's "XOXO" in stock and ready for you.
We're bringing it back! Our annual UFO (Un-finished Objects) Challenge. This is for BOTH of our store locations!. In January/February/March we are giving you the chance to FINISH some of your projects that are just sitting in the corner (..
..I'm looking at you massive king size paper pieced wedding ring quilt) begging to be finished.
It doesn't matter the stage of your object. It could be that you have just cut it out.... it could be that you just need to bind the dumb thing... we don't care.
Each of those three months bring in up to 3 UFO's no later than the 10th to register them for $1 each. Return with any or all of them completed by the last day of the month and for each one finished your name will be entered into a drawing. We'll draw a name each month and the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the shop! Just think.... if you play for all three months you could finish up to nine projects.... and maybe win $150 to shop at Home Grown Quilts.
For quilters, UFOs may be quilts, table runners, or wall hangings or purses, etc... - no size restrictions. For knitters and crocheters, anything unfinished on the day of registration is eligible. For Cross-Stitchers/Embroidery peeps- bring anything in that is unfinished.
We will even give you another incentive: We'll give you 15% off of any supplies you might need to finish up that project you've been keeping in the naughty corner.

We made our sample out of darling pinks and reds that makes us think that love is in the air. It is such a happy table topper that you will love in your home.

This super duper adorable quilt can be made in a single day. Come learn how to do simple applique and prairie points on your quilt. We have kits available that have pops of cozy fleece and yummy minky fabric in them to make this quilt extra tactile for those little ones.

A Hawaiian quilt is a distinctive quilting style of the Hawaiian Islands that uses large radially symmetric applique patterns. Motifs often work stylized botanical designs in bold colors on a white background.
Hawaiian quilt applique is made from a single cut on folded fabric.

Learn to make a gorgeous Mariners Compass WITHOUT paper piecing! Bennie will teach you how to do this the Robin Ruth way, AND you can make them in 16 difference sizes! Robin Ruth rulers required (patterns included). Rulers are available through Home Grown Quilts.

You will love this darling farmhouse quilt. Stars, aprons hanging on a line, and a farmhouse? Yes please. We discovered after making the quilt there is plenty of leftover fabric from the requirements to make the cute table topper too!
Strip Race!!!!!

Our 7th annual Great Strip Race is happening in February! This year, we will be doing an super cute Strip Quilt featuring hot air balloons, which is perfect for 2-1/2in pre-cut strips (Jelly Rolls). Our Great Strip Race is famous for snacks, silly games with prizes, and lots of laughing as we quilt! This class fills up quickly, so be sure to sign up now.
**Each class has a Supply List. There may be additional class costs for special sewing supplies, such as patterns, or special rulers, etc. Fabric requirements will be listed.
Once you register for your class and receive your Supply List, you will qualify to receive a 15% discount on all required supplies. To receive the discount, you must have your Supply List with you when you make your purchase. NOTE: Students are required to have their own patterns and tools during classes. This enables the classes to stay on the curriculum schedule rather than having the class wait while students borrow supplies from each other.**
